Hibbert Homes and Will Solicitors
Hibbert Homes is an independent estate agency serving South Manchester and Stockport, with branches in Hale, Bramhall and Sale. It handles sales and lettings, valuations, land and new homes, and property management for landlords. The agency began trading in 2011 from its first office in Hale village, and has since grown by acquiring The Carrington Partnership and Trading Places in Sale. Hibbert Homes displays ARLA and NAEA Propertymark membership and works with buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants.
A new home often means new people depending on you, whether that is a partner, young children or a tenant in a property you let. That is why we work with Hibbert Homes. A move is a sensible time to make sure your will keeps up. As a Hibbert Homes client, your first consultation call costs nothing and comes with no obligation. Our fees are fixed and published, from £150 + VAT for a single will or £275 + VAT for a pair of mirror wills, and you know the price before any work starts.
Looking after the people behind the firm
Many people come to Hibbert Homes at a turning point. A first flat in Sale, a bigger family home in Bramhall or Hale, or a move to somewhere smaller once the children have gone.
Each of those moments changes who depends on you and what you own. Parents with young children need a will to name guardians, otherwise the decision could fall to a court. Couples who are downsizing often want to check that their wills still divide things fairly, especially in a second marriage. And if you let a property through the agency, you may want someone ready to manage it if you cannot.
How we can help you and your family
Every service starts with the same free consultation call.

We are moving to a bigger home with Hibbert Homes. Should we name guardians?
If you have children under 18, yes. A will is the only place you can appoint guardians. Without one, nobody has automatic authority and a court may need to decide. We talk through who you would choose, and a backup, on your free consultation call, then prepare mirror wills from £275 plus VAT.
We are downsizing. Is now a good time to update our wills?
It is a sensible moment. Selling a family home can free up money, and you may want to help children or grandchildren, or think about care costs later on. We can look at your wills alongside any plans to protect your estate, including inheritance tax, trusts and care fees.
I rent my home. Is a will still worth having?
Yes. A will covers everything you own, not just property. Savings, belongings and who looks after your children all matter. If you live with a partner you are not married to, a will is the only way to make sure they inherit from you. A single will starts from £150 plus VAT.
